The Minnesota Vikings and Adrian Peterson have been dealing with questions surrounding his knee since last December. They can finally concentrate on other questions during game week preparation as the veteran running back was deemed healthy enough to leave off the injury report.

Despite the health of Peterson, the Vikings are dealing with several other key players with injuries. Head coach Leslie Frazier was able to take a few players off the list this week, but added a few as well.
CB Chris Cook (biceps)
The third-year veteran was a full participant all week in practice. He has 11 tackles, one sack and two passes defensed through two weeks of the season. He injured his arm in the season-opening victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. He remains listed as the starting right cornerback ahead of A.J. Jefferson and Marcus Sherels. Status for Sunday: No status given.
TE Rhett Ellison (ankle)
The rookie was a full participant all week in practice. He injured the ankle during the week one win over the Jaguars. He did not get on the score sheet in either of the team’s first two games. He remains listed as the third team tight end behind Kyle Rudolph and John Carlson and ahead of Allen Reisner. Status for Sunday: Probable.
LB Erin Henderson (concussion)
The fourth-year veteran did not practice at all this week. He was injured in last week’s loss to the Indianapolis Colts. The Vikings did not know he suffered the concussion until Wednesday. He recorded 22 tackles and two sacks through the first two games of the season. He remains listed as the starting weakside linebacker. He should resume that role when he is cleared to return to action. Status for Sunday: Out.
LB Marvin Mitchell (ankle)
The sixth-year veteran was a full participant all week in practice. He was injured in the final preseason game and did not play in Weeks 1 or 2. He remains listed as the second team weakside linebacker, but will start Sunday with Henderson out. It will be his Vikings debut. Status for Sunday: Probable.
DE D’Aundre Reed (calf)
The first-year player practiced Wednesday, but was limited Thursday and sat out Friday. He suffered the injury during practice this week. He has not recorded any statistics through two games this season. He remains listed as the second team left end behind Brian Robison. Status for Sunday: Out.
DE Brian Robison (elbow)
The sixth-year veteran was a full participant all week in practice. He suffered the injury during last week’s loss to the Colts. He has six tackles and one pass defensed through two games this season. He remains listed as the starting left defensive end with Reed behind him on the depth chart. Status for Sunday: Probable.
S Andrew Sendejo (ankle)
The second-year veteran was a full participant all week in practice. He was injured during the third preseason game and did not play the final preseason game and week one. He returned in Week 2 and did not record any statistics, just a big roughing the punter penalty. He remains listed as the third team free safety behind Harrison Smith and Jamarca Sanford. Status for Sunday: Probable.
C John Sullivan (ankle)
The fifth-year veteran was a limited participant in practice Wednesday and Thursday. His practice participation was not listed for Friday. He injured the ankle in practice before the Week 2 loss to the Colts. He started in both games this season. He remains listed as the starting center with Joe Berger as his backup. Status for Sunday: No status given.
WR Jarius Wright (ankle)
The rookie was a full participant all week in practice. He was injured in the final preseason game and missed both Weeks 1 and 2. The assumption is that he will make his NFL debut Sunday in hopes of enhancing the downfield passing attack. He remains listed as the third team flanker behind Percy Harvin and Stephen Burton. Status for Sunday: Probable.
The Vikings list probable as a 75 percent chance the player will play, questionable means it is 50 percent, doubtful is 25 percent and out means the player will not play.
